The Pale Brood
The Pale Brood started out by playing Irish music–in particular, Pogues covers and some traditional Irish songs. Composed of both Japanese and foreign members, the group started playing in pubs and bars in Gotanda, and quickly moved their way into venues in Shinagawa, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. They use an assortment of instruments including the mandolin, fiddle, and viola, and now create pop originals, like “Blue Eyed Girl.”
After about a year of playing together and expanding their repetoire, they have started recording an original album, due to be complete in winter. Come see them play at your nearest pub/bar.
